As an important key, the city government must have specific measures in land planning, environmental protection management, industrial upgrading and educational cooperation, and instruct the Smart Urban and Rural Development Committee to form a Taozhumiao Greater Silicon Valley project promotion team to integrate relevant bureau resources to promote this plan We hope to maintain positive interactions with the central government.

Mayor Zhang pointed out that after the central government released the Greater Silicon Valley plan, the Municipal Urban Development Bureau immediately carried out space preparations for the existing plan and promoted industrial connections with the Economic Development Bureau. In the future, land for new science parks or industrial zones will require land. It also hopes to use this to promote the development of the city's AI application and service industry, promote industrial upgrading, and learn from the cooperation model of Tsinghua University, Yang-Ming Jiaotong University and Hsinchu Science Park to further enhance the city's higher education environment.

The mayor also reminded that while the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) industry brings economic benefits, it also creates a large environmental burden. The Environmental Protection Bureau must require the sewage treatment facilities in industrial zones and science parks to comply with emission standards, and suggest economic The Ministry of Finance subsidizes the PCB industry to improve production equipment to reduce environmental burdens.

The Economic Development Bureau stated that as the global AI output value increases year by year, Taiwan's AIoT output value will reach 2 trillion yuan, driving the development of the electronics industry. Taiwan's circuit board industry reported an output value of approximately US$22.547 billion in 2012, accounting for 32.4% of the world's total. Among them, the number of PCB companies in Taoyuan accounted for 64% of Taiwan's total, ranking first in the country. These data show Taoyuan's key role and development potential in the high-tech industry. In line with the future Taozhumiao Silicon Valley promotion plan, the city's industrial zone, Longke Phase III, and Aviation City will continue to develop, and the demand for water and electricity will increase. Hydropower infrastructure will be deployed in advance to cope with this.

The Intellectual Property Council further explained that the Political Yuan announced the "Taozhumiao Greater Silicon Valley Promotion Plan" in February this year (113), aiming to strengthen the development of technology industries in the Taozhumiao area. Taoyuan's industrial and commercial output value reached 4.8 trillion yuan and its employed population There are 1.168 million people, accounting for more than half of the Taozhumiao area. Taoyuan is the core of the semiconductor, AI, defense and aerospace, PCB, green energy and wind power and dual-port logistics industries. The city government will fully mobilize all bureaus and offices to actively cooperate with the central government to ensure the smooth implementation of the plan while enhancing Taoyuan’s industrial environment and competitiveness.
