Taoyuan Mayor Zhang Shanzheng led the bureau heads to announce the Taoyuan City Government’s “113 Spring Festival service non-closure measures” before the city council meeting this morning (6th). Mayor Zhang said that the 2013 Lunar New Year (February 8 to February 14) is coming, and citizens are welcoming the new year with joy. The city government’s citizen services will not close, and eight major heart-warming measures have been launched, including "Environmental Cleaning", "Artistic Charging", "Spring Touring", "Social Welfare Care", "Transportation", "Sports Venues", "Fish Sales and Animal Health", "Medical Food Safety" and other non-stop services, I hope that citizens and friends can have a happy and smooth New Year.

In terms of "Non-Closing Environmental Cleaning Services", all districts (except Fuxing District) will collect garbage normally on February 8 (New Year's Eve); there will be one collection trip starting from 9 a.m. on February 9 (New Year's Eve) and no collection at night; on February 10 Clearance and transportation will be suspended from February 13 to 12 (the first to the third day of the Lunar New Year); from February 13 to the 14th (the fourth to the fifth day of the Lunar New Year), there will be one clearing and transportation trip at 9 a.m., and the collection will be suspended at night; The route will be cleared at 8 a.m. on Thursday, and will be cleared once on February 9 (New Year's Eve) and February 12 (the third day of the lunar month) at 8 a.m. Collection will be stopped at night. In terms of "Non-Closing Arts and Culture Charging Services", most of the city's cultural venues are open during the Chinese New Year. Daxi Wood Art Ecological Museum will open on February 8 and February 11 (the second day of the Lunar New Year); Guishan Military Village Story Hall, Xianguang No. 2 Village, Matsu New Village, Taiwu New Village, Zhongyuan Cultural and Creative Park, Light and Shadow Cinema Museum, Hengshan Calligraphy Art Museum, and Children's Art Museum will open from February 8th and February 12th (the third day of the Lunar New Year); The Confucius Temple, Taoyuan Martyrs Shrine and Shrine Cultural Park, Taiwan Hakka Tea Culture Center will open on February 8 and will open from February 10 (the first day of the Lunar New Year); Bakuacuo Folk Art Village, Yongan Conch Cultural Experience Park, and the 1895 Yi Wei Bao Taiwan Memorial Hakka cultural venues such as the park and Lunping Cultural Landscape Park will be open from February 8th to February 13th (the fourth day of the Lunar New Year). In terms of "non-closing transportation services", the Taoyuan Airport MRT operates according to the timetable; taxis will charge an additional NT$50 per trip from February 5th to 14th (the fifth day of the Lunar New Year), and airport scheduled taxis will charge an additional NT$100 per trip; during New Year's Day During this period, there is no charge for roadside parking grids and public off-street parking lots without gates. The service hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. In terms of "social welfare care services are not closed", a Spring Festival care service center is set up during the Chinese New Year to handle case notifications, welfare consultations, care assistance funds, emergency resettlement and other services; Taoyuan and Zhongli District homeless outreach service centers provide instant noodles , eight-treasure porridge and other ready-to-eat foods. Six district offices and police stations in the city have placed supplies for people in need. Many religious places in the city also have hot food available during the New Year holidays; from February 9th to 14th (New Year’s Eve to the fifth day of the lunar month) ) provides alternative meal services to the elderly living alone and those with disabilities every day; in addition, all parent-child centers in Taoyuan City will open as normal from February 8 (New Year’s Eve) and February 14 (Fifth Day).
