The North District Maintenance Engineering Bureau is seeking NT$150 million in funding for road surface improvement projects on Provincial Road Taiwan 1 Line in Taoyuan City this year (2025). The improved sections
include 8.5 kilometers of Wanshou Road in Guishan District, 2 kilometers of Zhongshan Road in Taoyuan District and 2.2 kilometers of Fuxing Road. However, some sections of the road have not been repaired due to the construction of the Taoyuan City sewage pipeline. We will ask the pipeline unit to carry out road paving and repair after excavation and construction (expected to be completed in 2027). During the construction period, inspections will be strengthened and sporadic repairs will be carried out to provide smooth and safe roads. As for the 50 most accident-prone intersections of Taoyuan City, our Zhongli district maintenance office has completed surveys and intersection improvements of the 20 most accident-prone intersections on provincial roads in September 2025, expecting to provide a safer road environment.
